Ikeja Electric Commissions Two New Injection Substations

The Shomolu and Akowonjo Business Units of Ikeja Electric have strengthened their networks in a concerted bid to improve power supply to customers. The two Business Units recently commissioned two new Injection Sub-Stations at Abule Taylor (1 x 15MVA) and Olowora (1 X 15MVA).

The Abule Taylor Injection station will relieve the existing overloaded Ekoro 2 X 15MVA Injection Substation while Olowora Injection Sub-Station will relieve the overloaded Ojodu and Isheri Injection Substations which will further strengthen the 11kv feeders supplying Isheri, Omole Phase ll and environs.

IE continues to strengthen our network with significant investment in infrastructure expansion as we strive to provide quality service to our customers at all times.
