INVITATION FOR OPEN BID – NOTICE TO VENDORS

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR CBN CAPITAL PROJECT
IKEDC 31 – CONSTRUCTION OF 1X15MVA INJECTION SUBSTATION AT LASPOTECH    

1.0.     INTRODUCTION
Ikeja Electric Plc (IE) has received a CREDIT facility from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for Accelerated Transmission – Distribution Interface Projects to invest in the DISCOS through rehabilitation and expansion projects.

Please note that as this is a capital-intensive CBN-funded project, payments will be made after milestone completion. The milestones will be determined based on the total project cost. After each milestone completion, confirmation documents would be submitted to CBN for disbursement after approval from NERC.

Additionally, submitting your bid means that you have accepted the payment disbursement milestones set by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as it is non-negotiable. Kindly note that there would no advance payments for this project.

2.0.     SCOPE OF WORK

  1. Construction of Control Room with furnishings, Installation of electromechanical equipment, Preparation of complete switch yard and Fencing of security gates.
  2. Extension of Fakale 33kv line to the injection substation.
  3. Construction of 11kv feeder Ex LASPOTECH injection substation.
  4. Construction of Parafa 11kv feeder Ex LASPOTECH injection substation.
  5. Construction of Awolowo Road 11kv feeder Ex LASPOTECH injection substation.
  6. Diversion of part of Fakale 33kv feeder source to Odogunyan Transmission station.

 
3.0     CONDITION FOR ELIGIBILITY
To be considered for pre-qualification, bidders will be required to provide information on the following:

  1. Evidence of company registration (CAC Certificate, CO2, CO7 or Statement of Affairs for Business Names)
  2. Detailed company profile including details of key professional staff
  3. Bank Reference Letter
  4. Proof of Address
  5. Preceding 3 years Audited Accounts / Statement of Accounts
  6. Preceding 3 years ended financial Tax Clearance Certificate
  7. VAT Registration Certificate and evidence of VAT remittances
  8. Evidence of Compliance with Pension Act, NSITF, ITF and evidence of remittances
  9. Evidence of manufacturers accreditation (if applicable)
  10. Evidence of Corporate Social Responsibility (if applicable)
  11. Evidence of Corporate Environmental and Governance Policy (if applicable)

 

4.0.     SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
Kindly Express your interest online through the Ikeja Electric Vendor Management System (VMS) (https://vms.ikejaelectric.com) on the “Bids & Tender” page on or before midnight (11:59 PM) on Monday 9th December 2024.

On the VMS, go to the Bids & Tender page, click on Open Bids and follow the process to Express Interest on your preferred bid.

Please Note: You must be a registered Ikeja Electric vendor with a valid Duns and Bradstreet Number to be able to log in to the Vendor Management System.

 

5.0.     NOTE

  1. Only bids submitted electronically through the Ikeja Electric’s Vendor Management System will be accepted. Submissions via other mediums would not be accepted.
  2. All information must be provided in the English Language.
  3. The Bid Documents will be sent to only pre-qualified vendors from the Expression of Interest page.
  4. This Advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of IE to enter into any contractual relationship.

 

6.0.     REQUIREMENTS
All interested vendors must be registered with Ikeja Electric in order to participate.
