EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

CONSTRUCTION OF OWORO MEGA UNDERTAKING

 

1.0      INTRODUCTION

Ikeja Electric Plc hereby invites reputable and qualified vendors to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for the proposed Construction of Oworo Mega Undertaking at Shomolu Business Unit. The selected contractor will be responsible for delivering the full mechanical installation package as defined in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

 

2.0   SCOPE OF WORKS

  • Reconstruction of perimeter fence, entrance gate, paving, drainage, and external utilities.
  • Site clearing, earthworks, plinth construction, and installation of water storage systems.
  • Demolition of weak structural elements, removal of defective ceilings, tiles, doors, and windows
  • Structural reinforcement using concrete works, formwork, and steel.
  • Replacement of roofing sheets, timber elements, waterproofing, and roof drainage alignment.
  • Installation of new windows, security doors, and internal wooden doors.
  • Finishing works: tiling, ceilings, painting, and cladding.
  • Mechanical and electrical installations including plumbing, AC, firefighting, rewiring, lighting, and earthing.

 

3.0      VENDOR REQUIREMENTS

Interested vendors are expected to demonstrate capacity and competence by providing information on the following:

  • Evidence of execution of similar construction projects in the last five (5) years
  • Financial capacity supported by audited accounts (2022 – 2024)
  • Reference letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria.
  • Compliance with statutory requirements (Evidence of Certificate of incorporation issued by CAC including Form CAC1 or CAC2 and CAC7.
  • Evidence of Company income Tax clearance certificate valid till December 2025.
  • VAT Registration
  • Evidence of Pension clearance (Pencom), NSITF (Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund) & ITF (Industrial Training Fund) certificates.
  • Proof of address like Utilities bill or tenancy agreement.
  • Detailed Company profile with qualifications and experience of key technical staff
  • Strong Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) record.
  • COREN OR NSE Certificates.

 

4.0      SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Vendors are required to submit and attach all required EOI documents in accordance with the stated requirements.

Submissions must be made in line with Ikeja Electric’s procurement policies. Please note that the total size of all submitted documents must not exceed 4MB

All EOIs should be uploaded on the VMS portal: http://vms.ikejaelectric.com

This invitation is issued in line with Ikeja Electric Plc’s commitment to transparency and fairness in vendor engagement. Only vendors who meet the minimum requirements will be shortlisted for the next stage of the procurement process.

Only registered vendors who have access to the VMS portal will be able to submit their bids. The organization is not obligated to award a contract based on this EOI.

The deadline for submission of the EOI is Tuesday 10th of February 2026 by 11:59pm.
