IKEJA ELECTRIC PLC VENDOR REGISTRATION

In our bid to enhancing our business relationship with our vendors and ensure that their operations are guided professionally with the highest form of standards, we require all intending vendors to register with Ikeja Electric. The services of a globally reputable company, Dun & Bradstreet have been engaged to support Ikeja Electric in this exercise. The company shall review vendor’s documents, conduct office, workshop, and business premises inspection to validate vendor’s claims on the registration document. Upon satisfactory review, the company shall be issued a DUNS Number Certificate.

 

A DUNS Number is a unique business status number that is provided only to companies that are certified to have met acceptable vendor registration requirements. The number gives the company the benefit of being part of a global database of credible companies that have been certified by Dun & Bradstreet, and the number can be quoted on all your correspondence with any company both locally and globally.

Also note, for you to partner with Ikeja Electric it is compulsory to fill our Vendor Conflict of Interest form biannually. Please click here to access the Vendor Conflict of interest form to fill for business engagements upon complete registration.

 

Below are the documents required for the registration exercise:

1. Evidence of company registration (CAC Certificate, CO2, CO7 or Statement of Affairs for Business Names)  Compulsory

4. Bank Reference Letter Compulsory
5. Proof of Address  Compulsory
6. Preceding 3 years Audited Accounts / Statement of Accounts prior to registration year) Required for Category A vendors
7. Preceding 3 years ended financial Tax Clearance Certificate prior to registration year) Required for Category A&B vendors
8. VAT Certificate (compulsory, if applicable)
9. Evidence of manufacturers accreditation (compulsory, if applicable)
10. Evidence of compliance with Pension Act, NSITF, ITF (compulsory, if applicable)
11. Evidence of Corporate Social Responsibility (if applicable)
12. Evidence of Corporate Environmental and Governance Policy (if applicable)
13. Evidence of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Policy (compulsory, if applicable)
14. Any other relevant supporting documents that would fast track the validation and verification process.

To this end, kindly note the Vendor registration is open throughout the year and renewable after one year.

Companies who have paid the stipulated registration fee will be contacted by Dun & Bradstreet following the below steps;

Please note that any vendor found to have provided false information at any point of the registration process shall be immediately disqualified.
All vendor engagements shall be in line with the registered category at the point of payment of the registration fee and Ikeja Electric will not be held liable for a vendor’s category misrepresentation during payment.

Following the successful registration with Dun & Bradstreet Nigeria and the acquisition of a unique DUNS ID, the registered Company is required to create a vendor dashboard on the Ikeja Electric’s Vendor Management System (V.M.S) to facilitate business engagements.

The guidelines for creating an account on the VMS are outlined below.

GUIDE TO CREATING AN ACCOUNT ON VMS

Access the VMS platform by clicking on the provided link {Ikeja Electric V.M.S}
Choose the “Create Account” option to initiate the account creation process.
Fill in all the necessary information as requested to proceed.
A confirmation page will appear to review the details entered during the Duns & Bradstreet registration.
Confirm the accuracy of the provided information by clicking on the “Confirm” button.
In case of any discrepancies, use the “Back” option.
An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the email address you provided during registration with Duns & Bradstreet.
Enter the OTP received in your email to verify and authenticate your account.
Your account will be successfully created, and you will be officially recognized as a valid vendor eligible to transact on the platform.
