Ikeja Electric, Nigeria’s Largest Power Distribution Company has cautioned against bribing or inducing staff with material reward for services rendered. The company has launched a campaign calling on the general public to demand excellent service at all times without having to induce staff concerned.
The call which came from the Ag. CEO, Anthony Youdeowei, and directed to the general public, urged customers to report any case of extortion to the authorities of the Disco, noting that such cases would be given the necessary attention and dealt with in accordance with company policy. The CEO called on customers to pay their bills on time as required. This, he said, was the only action required as customers within the network.
