The Area G Police command, Ogba, has assured Ikeja Electric of continued support with respect to the protection of lives and properties within its network coverage area, which falls under its jurisdiction..
The Area Commander, ACP Saliu Abdullahi Sani, gave this assurance when representatives of Ikeja Business Unit and the Security Department paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
According to him, the Police were fully aware of the risks which IE staff go through while carrying out their lawful duties and that is why his Command responds promptly to any distress call from company. He further reiterated the need to maintain and sustain the partnership between the two bodies.
In his remarks, the Business Manager, Ikeja Business Unit, Engr. Olajide Kumapayi expressed his appreciation to the Command for their timely responses in times of distress and reaffirmed that Ikeja Electric is working assiduously to meet customers’ expectations.
