Prolonged Outage At Maryland Injection Substation

Ikeja Electric wishes to notify her esteemed customers  that the power outage currently being experienced in Anthony Village, Ilupeju, Mende, Ikosi-Ketu and part of Ojota is as a result of an electrical explosion which damaged the breakers and cubicles at the Maryland 132/33/11KVv injection substation and affected the feeders radiating out of the station. The Maryland Injection substation, which is located at Mende, supplies electricity to customers in the aforementioned places including WESTEX and Okupe Estate areas.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and wish to assure you that our engineers are working round the clock to restore supply within the shortest possible time.

We thank you for your understanding.
