On Monday 18th March 2023, Ikeja Electric sealed a collaborative agreement with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/ Nigeria Power Sector Program, a Power Africa Initiative.
According to Mr. Tunde Gbajumo, Chief of Party for the Nigeria Power Sector Program, “the USAID is committed to assisting Ikeja Electric in achieving its corporate objectives, particularly in reducing ATC&C losses. The support will include providing initiatives aimed at commercial loss reduction, assistance in power procurement, and the enhancement of capabilities for revenue protection amongst other benefits”.
Through this cooperative framework, Ikeja Electric and USAID seek to work closely together, leveraging their respective strengths, experiences, and resources to drive continuous improvement.
