More Payment Options: Ikeja Electric Partners Accion MicroFinance Bank

 

Ikeja Electric, Nigeria’s largest electricity distribution company has added Accion Microfinance Bank as one of the banks to receive payments from IE customers.

Accion Microfinance Bank, established in 2006, began operations in May 2007. With a seasoned management team from diverse backgrounds complemented by the expertise of sound technical partners, ACCION International, the bank focuses on providing business solutions in rural/semi urban areas with a focus on low income earners.

The bank has 30 branches in Lagos, 18 of which are within Ikeja Electric’s network.

Accion will use Interswitch’s Paydirect platform to collect revenue at its branches on behalf of Ikeja Electric.

Ikeja Electric continues to expand on her payment/collection options and platforms using technology and various partnerships with financial institutions to ensure that customers can purchase and pay for energy seamlessly.
