Earlier today, Ikeja Electric visited Morocco Comprehensive Junior High School, Igbobi, as part of our Safetainability for Schools (S4S) initiative.
We engaged parents during the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) Meeting on critical topics to promote safety and sustainability, including:
Electrical Safety – Staying safe around electricity.
Dangers of Trading Under Powerlines
Importance of Earthing Installation – Ensuring safety in homes.
Dangers of Energy Theft – Why it’s harmful to everyone.
Sustainable Waste Management – Turning waste into wealth!
Through S4S, we expose public secondary schools to international health, safety, and sustainability best practices. Earlier sessions were held with the students included:
Fire Safety – Teaching students how to use fire extinguishers.
Basic First Aid & CPR – Equipping them with life-saving skills.
Eco-Garden Project – Transforming old tyres into beautiful flower vases and planting flowers and vegetables with the students.
At Ikeja Electric, we believe in empowering communities and fostering a culture of safety and sustainability. Together, we can build a brighter, safer, and greener future!
Let’s embrace safety and sustainability in our homes, schools, and communities.
