The Power Play board game, recently launched by Ikeja Electric has been endorsed by the Lagos State Safety Commission following the successful launch of the game.
The game, an initiative of Ikeja Electric, was designed as an education and entertainment tool which provides information relating to hazards and common violations, as well as other operational aspects of electricity use, to customers of Ikeja Electric.
The endorsement comes on the back of the massive commendation received from the State Government during the launch of the game and will be printed on every copy of the game board and incorporated to the digital version of the game to signify the State Government’s support and approbation of the initiative.
Head Corporate Communications, Felix Ofulue said the company is committed to raising the bar on safety standards in the industry, noting that the initiative evolved out of concern for Ikeja Electric’s customers safety and well-being.
Ikeja Electric also recently bagged the OHSAS 18001 and ISO 9001 certification.
