World Malaria Day 2024: Ikeja Electric Receives Commendation for Malaria Prevention Efforts in Zone F Community, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos

Lagos, Nigeria – April 25, 2024: Ikeja Electric, Nigeria’s foremost electricity distribution company, has garnered praise from residents of Zone F in the Amuwo Odofin-Oshodi Business Unit for its proactive measures in combating malaria. In commemoration of World Malaria Day this year, Ikeja Electric collaborated with Osamed Health to provide free malaria testing, medication, and insecticide-treated mosquito nets to residents in the community.

During the sensitization program held to mark World Malaria Day, Ikeja Electric’s GiveBackTeam emphasized the importance of malaria prevention and control, empowering the community with knowledge and resources to mitigate the impact of the disease. Through this initiative, Ikeja Electric aims to contribute to the global effort to combat malaria, fostering a healthier and more equitable world for all.
